Journey Through the Book of John (2:1-12)
In a few months, our daughter and her fiancé will be getting married. It will be a special event that is taking a lot of preparation and planning to make everything turn out right. It also requires picking certain people to be part of the wedding party as well as invited guests. Paul compares the relationship of Jesus to the Church like a wedding where Jesus is the groom who is joining the Church as His bride. Much preparation has gone into this special wedding, and we are the guests that have been handpicked by God to witness this union.
