We are living in a world where everyone has different beliefs about everything. Depending on who we talk to or listen to, we will see a wide spectrum of what people consider to be true or put their confidence in. The Church also has a great variance with the beliefs of the leaders and followers. A survey was recently conducted by George Barna (Director of Research of Christian Research Center at Arizona Christian University) of a thousand Christian pastors in the United States1. Of all the pastors surveyed, who were from various denominations and non-denominations, just 37% of them have a biblical worldview.
Rather than focus on the lack of fidelity to the Word by most of these pastors, I would like to focus on us—what do we believe?
