Whenever a major project is started, there are bound to be problems which hinder progress or completion—financial, permits, materials, labor issues, and other difficulties. Last week, we learned that, as Nehemiah was rebuilding the wall of Jerusalem, he had to deal with internal conflicts between the leaders and the followers. He knew that it was important to address these differences so that the rebuilding could move forward. As we work together to rebuild the Church, we are also going to come face-to-face with conflicts, especially as the enemy tries to discourage us in both times of failures and successes.
