Yesterday, many Americans across the country, including myself, watched the various tributes for the Twenty-Year Anniversary of September 11th. There were various ceremonies, speeches, songs, and other activities that reminded us to never forget the lives that were lost and the sacrifices that were made.
After twenty years, we still feel the impact of this tragic event. Our lives have been changed forever—our sense of security, the way that we travel, what we go through to attend major events, and how we view other people. Such trauma is difficult to overcome and rebuilding and restoration of lives and property are almost impossible tasks.
