Sunday Service-November 1, 2020-“Biblical Worldview”

Biblical Worldview

In a few days, we will have Election 2020 and the people will vote for the candidates and issues that they believe will be best for the country and their local counties.  As Christians, we should believe in, be fighting for, and voting for what is called a biblical worldview.  Many Christians, however, do not understand, believe, or practice a biblical worldview.  The main question that we need to ask ourselves is this:

“In our own personal beliefs and behaviors, do we turn more to the Bible (God) or to the world (man) for guidance, direction, and strength?”

A biblical worldview is defined as believing that absolute moral truths exist; that such truth is defined by the Bible; and firm belief in six specific religious views, which I will phrase in question form so that you can answer these in your own minds:

1. Did Jesus Christ live a sinless life?
2. Is God the all-powerful and all-knowing Creator of the universe and does He still rule it today?
3. Is Salvation a gift from God that cannot be earned?
4. Is Satan real?
5. Does a Christian have a responsibility to share their faith in Christ with other people?
6. Is the Bible accurate in all of its teachings?
