Allow Us to Introduce Ourselves<\/b><\/h4>\n

“We have found that our calling does not stop within the four walls of the church but our calling is wherever God places us\u2013in our homes, jobs, neighborhoods, and communities.”<\/em> <\/b><\/b><\/h4>\n

“We are Henry and Lena Lazo, the Senior Pastors of West Los Angeles Christian Center since February 2018.\u00a0 We look forward to serving the people of this church and this community.\u00a0 We are long time members of both the Westside of Los Angeles and West Los Angeles Christian Center.\u00a0 We have served as the Associate Pastors here since 2008.\u00a0 Our desire is to serve the Lord and His people in whatever way He calls us to do.<\/p>\n

In addition to our work at church, we have had successful careers in the work world.\u00a0 Henry worked for 30 years in the Los Angeles Unified School District as a teacher, assistant principal, athletic coach, program coordinator, and operations coordinator.\u00a0 Lena worked for over 20 years in the legal field as a legal secretary.\u00a0 We have now retired from our secular jobs to pursue full-time ministry.<\/p>\n

We have met at West Los Angeles Christian Center and been happily married for well over 30 years.\u00a0 We have three adult children, two granddaughters, and one grandson on the way.<\/p>\n
